Tag Busters Neighborhood Watch M.Y.T.V.

Welcome !

On these pages you will find out a little about MCAN, about how its community building efforts have changed the shape of our community...how we did it...who is involved, what we are doing now and our plans for the future.

MCAN is a non profit 501 (c)(3) Corporation which maintains   three major projects within the City and County of Merced. Tag Busters Graffiti Abatement Project, Merced Youth Tell A Vision and Neighborhood Watch are all involved with making our community a better place to live work and play.

At the heart of our mission are three basic concepts; that a      community is more a process than a place; that adults,     above all else exist to make communities into vital places where children can be reared in a safe environment, with every opportunity to grow into strong, healthy and productive adults; and that awareness, information and effective action by all residents make community sustainable.

I hope you will get some ideas here that will help make your home town a safer, more peaceful and prosperous community for all your neighbors......It can be done! Beginning in 1994, we did it in Merced, California One Block at a Time !

Thanks for stopping by!

Jim Sanders, Founder and President
